Job summary

CHG Electrical in Sheffield is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to shape water and wastewater infrastructure. You'll design below-ground structures, foundations, ducting and temporary works, coordinating with MEICA and other disciplines to deliver buildable, compliant solutions.

Join a growing multidisciplinary team with hybrid working (1-2 days home based), flexible hours, and CPD opportunities as you contribute from concept through construction and handover, helping AMP and utility projects

Qualifications

• Experience in civil design for utilities, water or infrastructure.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
• Full UK driving licence and strong multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil designs, layouts, foundations and temporary works.
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate MEICA requirements.
• Review topographical and geotechnical data to inform designs.
• Provide technical support during construction and site queries.
