Job summary

CHG Electrical in Sheffield is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to deliver civil layouts, foundations and below-ground structures for water and wastewater projects across the UK.

You'll work with mechanical, electrical and other engineering specialists to ensure designs are practical, buildable and ready for delivery, with hybrid working options and a clear progression path within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil design for utilities or water projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
• Understanding of CDM and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil drawings, layouts and calculations for below-ground structures.
• Coordinate with MEICA, electrical and mechanical teams.
• Support constructability reviews and risk assessments.
