Job summary

Gramian Consultancy in Stevenage is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to lead Cisco Telephony and Videoconferencing projects on-site. You will manage incidents, perform problem management, and document HLD/LLD while transferring skills to technicians and engineers.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Cisco environments, with CUCM/Unity/Jabber, CMS/TMS, SIP/H.323, and VMware v7/v8, plus WAN/LAN security knowledge and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a CISCO environment.
• Strong Cisco telephony knowledge (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber).
• Experience with Cisco video conferencing systems (CMS, TMS).
• Proficient in SIP/H323 protocols.
• Familiarity with VMware v7/v8.
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN networks and security.
• Good command of English.

Role Overview

Our client operates in the telecommunications sector, focusing on unified communications solutions and services.

We are seeking a skilled Unified Communications Engineer to lead and implement Cisco Telephony and Videoconferencing projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Cisco environment, particularly with telephony and video conferencing systems. Responsibilities include managing major incidents, ensuring effective problem management, and updating technical documentation. You will also be responsible for skill transfer to technicians and responding to customer requests in collaboration with the team leader.

CONTRACT: short-term contract (up to 1 year)

LOCATIONS: On-site in Ottobrunn, Germany; Getafe, Spain; or Stevenage, United Kingdom
