Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a CICS Mainframe Systems Programmer for UK/Europe with fully remote options and occasional Sheffield site visits. You will ensure stability, availability, and performance of CICS services within the IBM Mainframe environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in CICS administration, SMP/E, z/OS, and security tooling, and will provide Level 2/3 support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement across production systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in CICS administration and mainframe systems programming.
• Experience supporting large-scale mission-critical CICS environments.
• Proficient in CICS TS upgrades, SMP/E, z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, RACF.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CICS systems software.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for applications using CICS.
• Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability of CICS environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; assist with change/release management.
