Active Care Group in Preston is seeking a Children's Support Worker to care for a 14-year-old boy with complex health needs in his family home overnight. The role is part-time with waking nights from 9pm to 7am, on a zero-hours contract.
You will provide compassionate support for cerebral palsy, non-verbal communication, PEG feeding, seizures and respiratory issues. Full specialist training and shadow shifts are provided, with ongoing support from the care management team.

This role is to support a wonderful 14 year old boy with complex clinical health needs in his own home, where he lives with his family and dog. Our client's needs include cerebral palsy, non-verbal, PEG feed, seizures and respiratory issues. We will provide full specialist training and shadow shifts. This is a rewarding role where you can work with one child, enhancing his life every week.
Waking nights (9pm-7am) 2 nights a week available. Plus additional shifts available to cover other team members sickness/annual leave. We also have another package in Preston for morning/afternoon/evening shifts you can also work in if you are looking for more hours. In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team.
While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.
