Job summary

Keys Group is seeking experienced Support Workers to join a new home offering therapeutic support to two children and young people on a 3–6 month placement in Taunton, UK. You will work 39 hours per week, with a salary of £13.45–£14.15 per hour plus £3,000–£6,000 sleep-in allowance per year, and full training funded by the employer.

You will support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs on a 2:1 basis, provide a consistent, patient, and encouraging presence, and participate

Job description

We are looking for experienced Support Workers to join us at our new home which offers therapeutic support to 2 children and young people over a 3 - 6 month placement. You will become part of an amazing team, supporting young people to reach their full potential and have positive outcomes, giving them hope for the future. This is an exciting new venture where you would be supporting 2 young people who have complex emotional and behavioural difficulties on a 2:1 basis. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop. The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better. Job Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required and experience in a residential setting. Keys Group provide innovative care and education services to children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties.   • Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks
  • Empower them to make decisions about themselves

SALARY: Hourly:£13.45 - £14.15 per hour PLUS £3,000 to £6,000 sleep- in allowance pa. (£62.64 per sleep-in, working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month) Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week.
