Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Chef for contract catering to support senior chefs, oversee station-based cooking, and uphold site standards during shifts. The role requires Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent, strong teamwork and communication, and a solid grasp of safety and sanitation practices.

You should be able to work 8am-4pm, 2 days in a 7-day pattern, and contribute to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in contract catering.
• Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day food preparation and duties.
• Manage cooking process at your station to deliver timely food.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and proper use of utensils and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and notify seniors when running low.
• Collaborate with culinary team to maintain high quality.
