Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our Catering team at a prestigious client site in the UK. Shift pattern is Monday to Wednesday 2pm-7pm, delivering our food and drink offering to clients and site visitors while maintaining high standards.

You will ensure food quality, handle cash, manage stock, control budgets and minimise waste, maintain kitchen hygiene, and assist the Head Chef in their absence.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Food handling certificate is preferred (training available).
• Experience in contract catering is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality and taste are of the highest standard.
• Serve customers and handle cash.
• Manage inventory of stock and order raw materials.
• Control budgets and minimise wastage.
• Maintain health and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Prepare and cook for clients and customers.
• Support the site in the absence of the Head Chef.
