Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Chef to support daily food preparation and kitchen duties across multiple stations in a contract catering setting. You will work closely with senior chefs to ensure high standards, timely service, and compliance with safety and hygiene practices.

The ideal candidate has Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent, strong teamwork and communication skills, and a proven ability to multitask under pressure. Right to Work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef role is desired.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by senior chefs.
• Manage cooking process at your station across several dishes.
• Ensure safety and hygiene and proper use of equipment.
• Notify senior staff when inventory is running low.
• Work with culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service.
