Job summary

Bartlett Mitchell is excited to invite applications for a Chef de Partie role to be based in our catering operation in Hanley. This Sunday-only position runs 5 PM to 2 AM, with immediate start and potential extra hours.

You will deliver exceptional culinary production and contribute to a high-standard menu and stock control while maintaining a strong customer-focused service ethic. The ideal candidate has two years’ experience in a similar operation and holds C&G 1/2 or NVQ or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar sized operation.
• Educated to C&G 1/2, NVQ or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of financial and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a culinary showcase to the highest production standards.
• Plan balanced, well-costed menus and monitor stock levels.
• Inspire and lead a team to deliver excellent service.

This is a Chef position to work on Sundays - 5PM to 2AM, for immediate start. Extra hours may be available.

With sound financial and legislative knowledge, you understand how to achieve targets, plan balanced, well-costed menus and monitor stock levels and controls. An effective communicator with a strong customer focus, you’ll gain valuable feedback to measure success and be committed to continuous learning.

With two years’ experience working in a similar sized operation and educated to C&G 1& 2, NVQ or equivalent experience, you’ll have an exciting portfolio of awards, demonstrating the highest standards in the industry.
