Job summary

BM Caterers, a multi award-winning contract catering company, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in Barnsley. This role is Sundays from 5PM to 2AM with immediate start; extra hours may be available.

You’ll deliver culinary excellence to the highest standards, plan well-costed menus, monitor stock levels and lead a small team, inspiring collaboration to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar sized operation.
• Educated to C&G 1&2, NVQ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work as Chef de Partie on Sundays, 5PM–2AM.
• Provide culinary presentation to the highest standards.
• Plan balanced, well-costed menus and monitor stock levels.
• Inspire and lead the team to achieve customer satisfaction.

This is a Chef position to work on Sundays - 5PM to 2AM, for immediate start. Extra hours may be available.

With sound financial and legislative knowledge, you understand how to achieve targets, plan balanced, well-costed menus and monitor stock levels and controls. And you’ll inspire your team too, promoting a culture of working together to achieve customer satisfaction and exceed expectations. An effective communicator with a strong customer focus, you’ll gain valuable feedback to measure success and be committed to continuous learning.
With two years’ experience working in a similar sized operation and educated to C&G 1& 2, NVQ or equivalent experience, you’ll have an exciting portfolio of awards, demonstrating the highest standards in the industry.
