Job summary

Benridge Care Homes is seeking a chef at Asmall Hall to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents, working with the Wellbeing Coordinator to support group events and ensure dietary needs are met with high presentation standards.

You will monitor production, follow HACCP guidelines, maintain hygiene, minimise waste, and uphold regulatory and cleaning procedures while contributing to group-wide meal services and DBS-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the Wellbeing Coordinator to provide food for the various events that take place throughout the group
• Providing dietary requirements to meet the needs of our residents
• The presentation of the food served is to a high standard
• Monitoring and maintaining consistent food standards during all stages of production and service
• Adhering to the HACCP procedure according to Food Safety Management documentation
• Maintaining the correct use of the company’s regulatory framework and cleaning procedures
• Ensuring quality control and hygiene systems are achieved
• Ensuring minimum waste
