About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.

You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policy compliance. Enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy, you'll enhance your skills in a fun, educational environment, helping you progress to more senior roles.

Your responsibilities include deputising in the absence of the sous chef, managing daily operations in your section, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and adhering to health and safety regulations. You will lead, train, and mentor commis chefs, prepare dishes with pre-approved recipes, complete relevant food diaries, and support budget control with the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

About You

We seek individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to advance in their culinary careers. You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements. Enthusiasm, energy, and a team-oriented attitude are essential, along with a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confidence in team leadership in a fast-paced environment. You will also manage margins, costs, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Our chefs are integral to our guests' positive experience, and we value fun, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. The role involves working five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
