About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.

You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.

You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to enhance your skills in a fun, educational environment, supporting your progression to more senior roles.

As a Chef de Partie, your role is crucial in our kitchens. You will deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and food safety compliance.

You will maintain a clean, organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate these standards to your team. You will lead, train, and mentor Commis Chefs with guidance and support.

Your responsibilities include preparing and cooking dishes per approved recipes, completing daily food diaries, and controlling budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

About You

You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Our chefs are integral to creating memorable guest experiences, and we value team players who are fun, engaged, and dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Working Hours

Typically, five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
