About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.

You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.

You will oversee small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun, educational environment, supporting your progression to more senior roles.

In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and safety compliance. You will maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.

Your responsibilities also include preparing and cooking dishes to pre-approved recipes, completing daily food diaries, and managing budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

About You

We seek individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to progress in their culinary careers. You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in improving team standards.

Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role's value to guest experience will thrive here. You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
