About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.
You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. Enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy, you'll enhance your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior roles.
In this role, you will deputize in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety regulations.
You will maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate these standards to your team. You will lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support as needed.
You are expected to prepare and cook dishes according to pre-approved recipes, complete relevant daily food diaries, and assist in controlling budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
You will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
