About The Role
- Assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the food propositions.
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipes and brand standards.
- Oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety compliance and quality standards.
- Participate in the Butlins Chef Academy to develop skills and progress in your culinary career.
- Deputise for the sous chef in their absence, managing daily operations in your section for efficiency and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate these standards to team members.
- Prepare and cook dishes following pre-approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in managing budget margins.
About You
- Experience in a similar role, or seeking to advance to this level.
- Hardworking, reliable, and proactive in improving team standards.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to enhancing guest experience through team potential.
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confident in leading a busy kitchen team.
- Ability to manage margins, costs, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Fun, team-oriented, and dedicated to creating enjoyable guest experiences.
