As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
Responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, following set recipes and brand standards.
Overseeing small teams of commis chefs, you will ensure the delivery of the food proposition in accordance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to enhance your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior levels.
As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will be crucial to our kitchens. You will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
You will also maintain a clean and organized workstation, always adhering to health and safety regulations, demonstrating these responsibilities as a standard to the team. You will lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support as needed.
Additionally, you will prepare and cook dishes according to pre-approved recipes, complete relevant daily food diaries, and help control budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
We are seeking individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to step up in their culinary career.
You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements to deliver our brand standards consistently.

You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
You will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical working hours: five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
