About The Role
- Assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the food propositions at Butlins.
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipes and brand standards.
- Oversee and lead small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policies are followed.
- Participate in the Butlins Chef Academy to develop skills and progress in your culinary career.
- Deputise for the Sous Chef in their absence, managing daily operations within your section for efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to health and safety regulations, setting a standard for Commis Chefs.
- Prepare and cook dishes as per pre-approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in controlling budget margins.

- Hold a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
