About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, following set recipes and brand standards.
You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in accordance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior roles.
As a Chef de Partie, you will deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef, manage and oversee daily operations in your section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
You will maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate these standards to the team you lead, train, and mentor with guidance and support as needed.
You will also prepare and cook dishes according to pre-approved recipes, complete relevant daily food diaries, and support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in controlling budget margins.

You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment.
As with any chef role at this level, you will manage margins, control costs, and handle health, safety, and hygiene responsibilities.

Typical working hours: five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
