About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.
Manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policies are followed. You will be enrolled in our Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun, educational environment, supporting your progression to senior roles.
In this role, you will deputise for the sous chef in their absence, oversee daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.
You will maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.
Prepare and cook dishes according to pre-approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in managing budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
We are seeking individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to advance their culinary careers.
You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements to ensure consistent delivery of our brand standards.

It is essential to have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and to be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Additional responsibilities include managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.
