Butlin's is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to assist in managing kitchen operations at their resort in Peterborough. The role involves leading a team of commis chefs, preparing dishes according to brand standards, and ensuring a safe, efficient kitchen environment. About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.
Manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior roles.
In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, oversee daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and safety compliance. Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate these standards to the team. Lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.
Prepare and cook dishes following approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in controlling budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving, understanding their role and the value they bring to guest experience by unleashing team potential.
You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to deliver high standards in a fast-paced environment.
As a chef at this level, you will also manage margins, control costs, and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working 35 hours per week, five days over seven, including weekends and late finishes. Shifts vary between 7am and midnight.
On-resort accommodation is available for those looking to relocate.
