Overview

Interaction Recruitment - Northampton Branch is currently working with a prestigious client who requires additional Chefs to support conferences throughout May.

The conferences attract approximately 100-175 people, with service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The environment is family-friendly. The team consists of about 5 Chefs and up to 3 Kitchen Porters. The site uses 70% fresh produce. We have shifts available from 5th to 18th May based on your availability.

Rota options include an AM shift (06:30 - 14:30) or a PM shift (12:00 - 20:30).

Breaks: A 30-minute meal break is deducted from your shift, and you are entitled to a hot meal.

Pay rates are £16.00/hour for Chef De Partie (PAYE) or £17.00 to £18.00/hour for Sous Chef, depending on experience.

Note: Accommodation is not provided at this site.

Requirements for Chefs
  • Must be able to drive and have access to a reliable vehicle due to the site location; public transport is limited.
  • Qualified or time-served Chef with production or high-volume experience.
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification.
  • Own Chef whites, trousers, and suitable footwear (Chef crocs or safety shoes).
  • Flexible, adaptable, presentable, reliable, and a team player.
  • Experience with fresh produce is preferred.
