Job summary

Accommodation is provided, with a charge of 270 GBP per month. You should have experience in a similar role and a passion for high-quality cuisine, ideally with Rosette standards exposure.

• Passionate about good quality cuisine.
• Stable background; ideally Rosette standards experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists and supports the head chef in food preparation.
• Prepares starters and vegetables.
• Coordinates banqueting events with the banquet manager.
• Supports restaurant sales and marketing efforts.
• Involved in training lower cadre staff.
• Assists with menu planning.
• Oversees breakfast preparation and service.
• Oversees food preparation, cooking and presentation in the restaurant.
• Ensures safety, health and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Troubleshoots kitchen issues and ensures timely delivery of food.
• Manages and supervises commis chefs.
