About The Peligoni Club

The Peligoni Club is a family-run members club on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, Greece. Our food offering is a central part of the guest experience, delivered across a collection of busy restaurants - from Mediterranean fire-cooked dishes at The Terraces to relaxed seafront breakfasts and lunches at Tasi, and simple, well-executed plates at The Deli Kitchen.

We also operate Mikro Nisi, our modern Greek fish taverna, and host weekly events including our Food Festival, family feasts, weddings and the renowned Guest Chef Series - where acclaimed chefs join our team to create memorable dining experiences for guests.

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced and passionate Chefs to join our kitchen team for the 2026 summer season. You’ll take responsibility for your own section, delivering consistently high standards during busy services and contributing to an exciting, creative and quality-driven food offering.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role suited to chefs who thrive under pressure, enjoy working with fresh ingredients, and want to be part of a collaborative team. You’ll work across multiple kitchens, support special events, and have the opportunity to bring ideas to the table - helping shape dishes that delight guests from breakfast to dinner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run and manage your section within the kitchen.
  • Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standards.
  • Support weekly events, weddings, Guest Chef dinners and Food Festival pop-ups.
  • Work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to manage costs, maintain profit margins and minimise waste.
  • Communicate ordering requirements clearly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to menu development and create specials that cater to different tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure all dietary needs are understood and safely catered for.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist other kitchen stations when required and support smooth service flow.
  • Take on additional duties when needed to support smooth club operations.

Essential Requirements
  • Extensive experience working in a professional kitchen.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef in a full-service restaurant.
  • Experience in a 2 Rosette kitchen (desirable).
  • Up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.Strong understanding of food handling, hygiene and safety practices.
  • EU passport holder.
