Job summary

St Austell Brewery’s Oystercatcher in Polzeath is seeking an ambitious Chef to join a scenic pub kitchen. You’ll work with a dedicated team, cooking with locally sourced produce to deliver quality dishes for families, couples, and surfers after a day on the coast.

You’ll be part of a busy kitchen, keeping procedures and dish specifications precise, while enjoying live-in accommodation and various staff perks. Training and progression are encouraged.

Qualifications

The Oystercatcher is a contemporary bar and restaurant with comfy accommodation that enjoys an enviable outlook over Polzeath Beach and out to sea, from both inside and across its spectacular al fresco space.

You’ll be working at a scenic pub that’s popular among families, couples, and surfers seeking a delicious bite to eat following a session on the waves or a day out exploring Cornwall’s dramatic north coast.

Are you an ambitious Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a chef you will work as a team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
