Old Custom House in Padstow is seeking a passionate chef to join our busy kitchen team. You will work in a fast-paced pub setting, preparing dishes that showcase locally sourced produce and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will collaborate with a small team to keep service smooth, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure each plate meets our specifications. Live-in accommodation may be available, and we welcome applicants who enjoy a flexible, community-focused atmosphere.

The Old Custom House enjoys a prime position on Padstow’s South Quay. It stands proud as one of the town’s historic stone buildings and buzzes with life as both a community pub and a hot spot for tourists with comfy sea view rooms.

You’ll be working in Cornwall’s foodie capital; a serene location that’s perfect for getting out on the water, exploring the estuary, and navigating the surrounding coastline.

Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a chef you will work as a team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
