Job summary

The Crown & Anchor, part of Young's Pubs, in Chichester Harbour invites a skilled Chef de Partie to join a historic 16th-century site with stunning views. This live-in role offers hands-on kitchen leadership, menu development support, and exposure to a busy seasonal kitchen.

You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to craft fresh dishes, mentor juniors, and deliver consistently high quality meals for our guests and events.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced cooking experience in a busy kitchen.
• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge.
• Proven ability to prepare quality dishes to specification.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes and daily specials.
• Maintain GP and labour controls with careful planning and organisation.
• Act as hands-on Chef de Partie and kitchen supervisor when required.
• Collaborate with front-of-house teams to drive sales and guest experience.
