Village Hotels in Portsmouth is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader / CDP to own a section, drive quality and presentation, and support a busy service. You will lead a brigade, uphold food safety standards, and manage stock to maximise gross profit.

You will be hands-on on the kitchen floor, coordinate with the team, and ensure deliveries meet brand standards while minimising waste. A proactive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section and support the wider brigade.
• Maintain food safety and brand delivery; ensure temperature checks and HACCP/EHO standards.
• Supervise junior kitchen staff and Kitchen Porters.
• Manage stock to par levels and minimise wastage; keep stock take paperwork up to date.
