Verde Resorts in Kilnwick Percy, York, is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours across five days, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with flexibility to suit the business needs.

You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and service, developing your culinary skills in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Formación

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment is desirable.
• Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety certification preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and proactive work ethic are important.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve high-quality dishes consistently under Head Chef supervision.
• Oversee specific kitchen sections: food prep, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with inventory management: ordering, stock rotation and minimizing waste.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
• Perform professionally to Verde Resorts’ standards under pressure.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure seamless service.
