Job summary

Dalmeny Park House Hotel in Glasgow is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, taking responsibility for a designated section and delivering high-quality dishes in a busy hotel environment. You will work with our senior chefs to develop your skills and ensure an excellent dining experience for our guests.

You will maintain food safety, support junior staff, and collaborate across the kitchen. We offer weekly pay, discounts across RAD venues, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant.
• Professional cookery qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for food with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking approach.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Preparing and cooking dishes in line with established recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering and ensuring effective stock rotation.
• Supporting and guiding Commis Chefs and junior members of the kitchen team.
• Keeping your workstation clean, organised and well-equipped.
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.
