Job summary

Bvlgari Hotel London is seeking a Chef de Partie to prepare all foods in the kitchen to the highest standards. You will be quick, efficient and accurate, delivering prompt service while following the Culinary Director's directions to ensure consistency and cost control.

The ideal candidate will have 5-star or Michelin/AA rosette experience, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent English; you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Job description

Reporting to the Culinary Director, you will be responsible for the preparation of all foods within the kitchen, ensuring it is to the highest of standards. You will be quick, efficient and accurate, providing a prompt service delivery. Following the clear directions of the Culinary Director, you will learn the importance of consistency and cost control. You will receive and account for supplies and deliveries, follow correct hygienic food handling practices and follow the restaurant's cleaning and waste disposal practices. You will lead and support junior members of the team and produce own work in accordance with deadlines and quality guidelines.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and excellent kitchen knowledge along with an understanding of food safety and hygiene for the environment you will work in. You are likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications although your technical skills and flexibility will be what sets you apart.

To be successful in this role you will bring experience as a Chef de Partie in a 5-star establishment and/or experience in a Michelin star or AA rosette restaurant. You will be an immaculately presented individual who possesses informal yet impeccable customer service skills.
