Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is sourcing a Chef de Partie for a luxury country house hotel in Powys, Wales. You will join a talented brigade serving fresh, locally sourced dishes under an experienced Head Chef.

You’ll work in an AA Rosette level kitchen, plating meals for lunch, dinner, and functions, with opportunities to mentor juniors and contribute to high-quality service. The role offers a £28k salary, staff accommodation, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen environment.
• Experience with fresh food in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant kitchen.
• Able to work unsupervised and develop junior team members.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs.
• Working in the AA rosette level kitchen using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
• Preparing and plating meals for lunch and dinner service and functions.
• Strong Management skills.
