Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in a busy venue or kitchen.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary qualification is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines ensuring high standards.
• Mis en place completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attend meetings with front and back of house teams; learn menu changes and tastings.
• Support junior team members (e.g., Commis Chefs) through guidance.
• Assist in team meals and accommodate dietary needs.
• Demonstrate initiative, learning mindset and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store properly after service.
