Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Banbury is seeking a Chef De Partie to join a busy, fast-paced kitchen serving a school community. You will cook with fresh seasonal ingredients, work Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, and contribute to everyday menus while maintaining our brand standards.

You will bring experience as a CDP or junior sous chef, a passion for great food, and strong teamwork. Free parking, gym access, and progression opportunities are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 0700–1500.
• Knowledge of fresh ingredients and seasonal menus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and teachers.
• Prepare food from scratch following brand standards.
• Ensure food hygiene, health and safety policies, and allergen controls are followed.
• Monitor wastage and contribute to cost control.
