Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. You will prepare, plate, and set up stations to the highest standards.

You will work with a team, follow health and safety guidelines, and take pride in consistent, high-quality food. Training and career development are available within our global hospitality group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• NVQ Level 1 or 2 is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to take direction and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines.
• Ensuring mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams and participate in tastings.
• Support junior team members (e.g., Commis Chefs).
• Assist in preparation of team meals considering dietary needs.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store them properly after service.
