Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Herne Bay is recruiting a Chef de Partie for Miramar Care Home. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver a nutritionally balanced, high-quality dining service for residents, in a warm, 40-hour-per-week role.

Requirements include City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ, Basic Food Hygiene, and at least 1 year of catering experience. DBS check funded by Avery; UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent.
• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Have a minimum of 1-year catering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culinary team to provide nutritionally balanced meals for residents.
• Participate in meetings to discuss catering functions and dietary needs.
• Develop and review menus with Head Chef and Sous Chef.
