Job summary

Harri is recruiting for a Chef De Partie at The Alexander Pope pub & hotel in Twickenham, near Strawberry Hill. The kitchen focuses on fresh fish and pub classics, with daily 'Skipper's Catch' specials and a busy pre-match atmosphere on rugby days.

In this hands-on role you will support the Head Chef, contribute to menu creativity, and help deliver high-quality dishes. A collaborative team, excellent communication, and a proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef with a passion for producing quality fresh food.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to work hand-in-hand with Head Chef and front of house.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with ideas to design and deliver new dishes and daily specials.

Responsibilities

• Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor.
• Work with Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials.
• Maintain GP and labour controls with planning and organisation skills.
• Drive sales and growth by engaging with kitchen and front of house teams.

The Alexander Pope pub & hotel is a stylish hub for Twickenham & Teddington, just a five-minute walk from Strawberry Hill Station. Serving all the pub classics we have a particular focus on fresh fish which we champion via our daily 'Skipper's Catch'. On rugby days you can find the pub buzzing with all the pre-match diners, not to mention our live music nights and famous quiz nights. What we look for in a Chef de Partie:

We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef looking for their next step, who considers themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Chef de Partie you will:

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food
• Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time
• Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor
• Show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Working alongside your Head Chef, you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour
• Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
