The Alexander Pope pub & hotel is a stylish hub serving Twickenham and Teddington, with a focus on fresh fish and popular pub classics.

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will be hands-on, creative, and collaborative, delivering high-quality dishes while supporting the Head Chef in menu creation and daily specials.

Qualifications

• Experience championing excellent service through quality food.
• Passion to deliver fantastic food every time.
• Active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor.
• Willingness to learn new skills and be an active team player with excellent communication.
• Creativity and ability to design and deliver new dishes for menus and daily specials.
• Strong planning and organisational skills for GP and labour controls.
• Pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth through kitchen and FOH engagement.

Chef De Partie

The Alexander Pope pub & hotel is a stylish hub for Twickenham & Teddington, just a five-minute walk from Strawberry Hill Station. Serving all the pub classics we have a particular focus on fresh fish which we champion via our daily 'Skipper's Catch'. On rugby days you can find the pub buzzing with all the pre-match diners, not to mention our live music nights and famous quiz nights. Sundays are very popular for families who just love our Sunday Roasts. The nearest public transport is Strawberry Hill Train Station.

What we look for in a Chef de Partie:

We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef looking for their next step, who considers themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Chef de Partie you will:

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food
• Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time
• Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor
• Show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Working alongside your Head Chef, you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour
• Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
