Job summary

The Dolphin Hotel in Beer, a Hall & Woodhouse destination pub, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie or equivalent to join a busy kitchen team. You will work across sections, maintain high standards, and contribute to a lively service in a beautiful coastal setting.

• Confident running a section and nailing consistency and presentation

• Experience in a busy kitchen and ready to hit the ground running

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu dishes to spec and maintain high quality
• Lead a kitchen section and ensure consistent plating and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness, stock, and food safety standards
• Support colleagues during peak service and maintain team morale
• Assist with menu and prep tasks as required

A characterful guesthouse close to a beautiful beach: Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of destination pubs with letting rooms, the Dolphin Hotel occupies a fantastic location in the village of Beer, on the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Beer boasts a beautiful shingle beach, with plenty of attractions suitable for all ages nearby. Guest areas include two comfortable lounge bars, dining room and a bright and spacious function room. We’re growing our kitchen team and looking for an experienced CDP, Section Chef or Line Chef to jump in and help us keep the good stuff coming. If you love great food, enjoy a buzzing service, and want to work with a genuinely supportive crew, this could be your next spot.
