Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse Limited seeks an experienced Chef de Partie to join the Dazzling Duchess kitchen at Poundbury near Dorchester. You’ll run a section, nail consistency and presentation, and work to spec under a busy service.

The role offers permanent or seasonal hours with a focus on a healthy work‑life balance, great training, and a clear path to progression within a supportive kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Chef de Partie with ability to run a section and maintain consistency.
• Trained in food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures.
• Keen about presenting dishes to spec and supporting a busy kitchen.

Chef, Premium Pub - £14.00 per hour + Tips + 60% off meals

Dazzling Duchess - Poundbury Near Dorchester. Built in 2016 by the Duchy of Cornwall but operated as part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of great pubs, the Duchess of Cornwall was so named at the direct request of the Prince of Wales and was opened by the then Prince and Duchess. The pub contains many artefacts from the Woodhouse family including The Badger glass - the largest hand-blown glass in the world. The building is split into sections over three floors, Bar and the Pantry, the grand central staircase, first floor dining room with its open kitchen and then to top it all off, is a beautiful outside terrace.

We’re growing our kitchen team and lookingfor an experienced CDP, Section Chef or Line Chef to jump in and help us keepthe good stuff coming. If you love great food, enjoy a buzzing service, and want to work with a genuinely supportive crew, this could be your next spot.
