Dazzling Duchess in Poundbury near Dorchester is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a buzzing kitchen. You will lead a section, cook to spec, and ensure consistent quality across all dishes within a supportive team.

We offer a £14.00 per hour rate with tips, a 60% meals-off benefit, uniform provision and ongoing training. Permanent or seasonal contracts are available, with a focus on sustainability and development.

Qualifications

• Experienced CDP or senior line chef with hands-on kitchen skills.
• Confident running a section and maintaining consistency and presentation.
• Trained in food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.

Dazzling Duchess - Poundbury Near Dorchester
Built in 2016 by the Duchy of Cornwall but operated as part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of great pubs, the Duchess of Cornwall was so named at the direct request of the Prince of Wales and was opened by the then Prince and Duchess. The pub contains many artefacts from the Woodhouse family including The Badger glass - the largest hand-blown glass in the world. The building is split into sections over three floors, Bar and the Pantry, the grand central staircase, first floor dining room with its open kitchen and then to top it all off, is a beautiful outside terrace.

We’re growing our kitchen team and looking for an experienced CDP, Section Chef or Line Chef to jump in and help us keep the good stuff coming. If you love great food, enjoy a buzzing service, and want to work with a genuinely supportive crew, this could be your next spot.
