Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking two Chefs to join the team at Baker Barracks, Emsworth. This permanent role is 35 hours per week with a shift pattern across 6 days, including one weekend in four, and a starting salary of £25,043.20 per year.

You will manage production and food levels, follow recipes, mentor new colleagues, and contribute to a high standard of food safety in a military establishment. Applicants must have UK residency for the past 3 years, be able to pass DBS checks, and have a relevant

Qualifications

• A relevant culinary qualification (NVQ Level 1/Level 2 or equivalent).
• A confident chef who loves working as part of a team.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for great food.
• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (UK residency for the past 3 years required).
• Own transportation due to limited public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – plus fine dining for special events.
• Following recipes and all policies and procedures
• Working as part of a talented team and mentoring new colleagues.
• Managing stock, placing orders, and keeping kitchen records up to date.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Supporting with kitchen deep cleans and due diligence paperwork.
