Aramark UK is seeking a Sous Chef at Somme Barracks to join a professional catering team serving military personnel in the UK’s largest Army garrison. You’ll blend hands-on cooking with kitchen leadership to deliver high-quality meals and support the development of your team in a purpose-driven environment.

The role requires UK residence for the past 3 years and passing security vetting/ DBS checks; shifts include early and late hours.

Qualifikationen

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work.
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Qualifications include BSC (Catering), MHCIM, HND, City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, NVQ level 2 and 3.
• Knowledge of health and safety.
• CIEH level 2 qualification or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with a team of chefs and kitchen assistants to deliver around 1000 meals, 3 times a day; you will be supervising in the kitchen unit.
• Responsible for the preparation of basic quality foods within a set pre-ordered menu.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy, and all stock checks are conducted correctly.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms.
• Manage customer complaints in a professional manner.
• Undertake relevant training as required.
