Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited is recruiting an apprentice Production Chef Level 2 to work in our kitchens across 19 brands; you will learn on the job in a busy environment, with a 15-month apprenticeship and full-time kitchen role under supervision of passionate chefs.

The program includes work-based training, a mentor, and the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification while you help maintain brand standards and ensure cooking quality for guests.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and back of house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Participate in training and learning modules.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and policies.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
