Job summary

Mitchells and Butlers Leisure Retail Limited offers a full-time apprenticeship in production cooking. You will join busy kitchens, learning on the job while working toward a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months, gaining a recognised qualification and helping run our kitchens.

No previous experience is required; you will be taught everything and supported by mentors. The program includes training modules and progression opportunities across our 19 brands.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we can teach you everything.
• You’ll be supported by mentors and team leads throughout the program.
• You will work toward Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and par tasks.
