Job summary

Morrisons in Maidstone is seeking a Checkout Team Leader to drive the front end of store operations, leading a proactive team across checkouts, customer service, kiosks and car parks.

You will coach colleagues, stay visible on the shop floor, and ensure high standards, safe processes and compliant cash handling every shift. You’ll use store data to make decisions and continuously improve the checkout experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a friendly, helpful team and coach colleagues to deliver great checkout service.
• Be visible on the shop floor, supporting colleagues and keeping queues moving.
• Ensure daily processes, cash handling and legal obligations are followed each shift.
• Use store reports to spot trends, fix problems quickly and improve checkout experience.
