Job summary

Blue Cross shop in Warminster is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a committed team and drive sales, stock control and community fundraising efforts. You will recruit and develop staff and volunteers, ensuring high standards of customer service and governance in a busy charity store.

You will work closely with the Assistant Manager, set income targets, manage costs, and foster a welcoming, community-driven shop environment open Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience required.
• Strong commercial awareness to drive sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Good IT skills and basic finance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate staff and volunteers, recruiting and training as needed.
• Manage sales targets and control costs with the Area Manager.
• Champion Gift Aid and ensure accurate pricing and merchandising.
• Oversee stock, donations, stock takes and daily shop operations.
