Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning withintheCentrefollowing PPM Schedulesaredelivered tomaintainacleanand safe environment for all visitors
• Ensureefficientrecyclingandwastemanagementiscarriedout
• Maintainwelfarefacilitiesingoodcondition
• LiaisewithallcolleaguestoensurethesmoothandefficientrunningoftheCentre
• Cleaningcarparks,manuallybrushingedges, along with emptying and replacing bin liners.
• Tocarryoutadailyinspectionofsitestreets,carparks,serviceroads/areasandpublicaccessareas back of house
• EnsureallHealth&SafetychecksarecarriedoutasrequestedbyFacilitiesManager&CentreManager
• InconjunctionwithFacilitiesManager&CentreManagercommunicateanddeliverHealthand Safety, practices, and regulations to company/centre specifications
• To prevent, detect and investigate; disturbances, offences on site, signs of intrusion, ensure securityofdoorsandgatesandthatnounauthorisedpersonnelenterrestrictedareastherefore creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors
• Accuratelyreportingallincidents&accidents,writingreportsofdailyactivitiesandirregularities, such as property damage, presence ofunauthorisedpersons, requests forassistanceor unusual occurrences and attending Court or Tribunal to give evidence
• Viewinganddownloadingrecordedfootageandmaintainingeffectivemultipleinformation feedssimultaneously, namely CCTV footage,Bodycamsand the radio system
• Dealingappropriatelyandwithcourtesyindividualswhotoactinananti-socialmanner,whoareor appearto be under theinfluence of alcohol or drugs and escortingindividuals from theCentre/site
• Respondingtoemergencysituationsastheyarise,liaisingwiththeemergencyservices,police, ambulance, and fire service to resolve issues andmaintainsecurity and service, directing emergency vehicles and other traffic on site
• Ensureallcontractorshaveavalidpermittowork,beforecommencinganyworks
• Receptionduties,includingansweringtelephonecallstotakemessages,answerquestions,and provide information, logging visitors in and out via the visitors’ book
• Testingthefirealarmsystemsincludingthesettinganddisengagingofthealarmpanel,andthe activation of the call points, dealing promptly with alarm activations
• Dealwithanyspillagesorlitterwithinthemallandcommonareas
• Totakeresponsibilityforyourownandothershealthandsafety,tocarryoutyourrolesafelyandto health, safety and security legislation and guidelines
• ToundertakeothermiscellaneousdutiesrelatingtogeneralserviceswithintheCentre,as requested by the management team
