Job summary

ABM operates a security and facilities team at a busy shopping centre in Wallsend. You will patrol to maintain safety, perform daily cleaning, and support the centre’s day-to-day operations.

This role requires strong communication and the ability to liaise with colleagues to keep the Centre running smoothly. Experience with security duties is important, including handling incidents, managing CCTV and access control, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required.
• CCTV Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning following PPM schedules to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ensure recycling and waste management is carried out.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Centre.
• Report incidents and accidents, and attend court or tribunal when required.
• View and download CCTV footage and manage the radio system.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services.
